Battle of the Tracks: Karina Pasian vs. Cassie Singing “Official Girl”

Karina Pasian has a demo song “Official Girl” that has already been done but unreleased by Cassie. I never thought the day would come where I would ever say that Cassie sang a song better than someone else. Perhaps Karina has a stronger voice (even though she had some shaky spots)…but Cassie has a better tone for the song and she delivers it better. Although I will say that it might be a bit unfair to compare a demo to a finished product…but nonetheless I gotta give Cassie the nod.

Watch: Madonna “4 Minutes” featuring Justin Timberlake

Madonna has a new video for her song “4 Minutes” featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Madonna is looking fantastic these days (isn’t she like almost 50?), but JT…not so much. This song is kinda hot…you gotta give Madonna credit for being able to constantly reinvent herself and keep her music current. The video has some interesting effects to it, but I think it would’ve been more interesting if it had more of a “save the world” feel to it. At any rate, JT and Madonna have some pretty good chemistry and I think this song will be a hit for them.
