Karina Pasian has a new video called “16 at War”. I really like that she is coming out with a song with a strong social message. It would undoubtedly be much easier for her to come out with a catchy song about a new dance or something brainless…but instead she is doing more meaningful music. So she gets many kudos for that.
If you’re interested to hearing more of the 16 year old phenom’s music…I came across a live performance video of her at a Detroit radio station. She has a great voice, and I really appreciate that she is making age appropriate music. To be honest, people of every age could use the message of actually getting to know someone before hopping in bed with them. I look forward to seeing her music career take off.

if theres a market for the garbage out nowadays then naturally there should enoguh room/leverage for this type of artist. i think kids nowadays hitting 10 and up and above are really socially aware and intellectual for their age and understand the concept of love more so than older folks think they do. its kinda refreshing. that slow motion song is bonafide.
I heard the song,a while and ago and I thought it was pretty good.
I wouldn’t go so far in saying that she is the next Alicia Keys in no way.
Her voice to me,is not uique.
She kinda sounds like a trying” Beyonce to me.
With more practice,I think shell likley be somewhat more like Beyonce,but not as good.we’ll see.

It’s my birthday today. It is also… Chris Brown’s birthday (sigh).
This young lady is truly talented and I hope that she gets the exposure and kudos she deserves. To Jamican woman lets push these type of artists instead of relegating them to pop icon wannabes. i think this young lady will develop in time and be her own force, not “somewhat like a beyonce”…not trying to play you i just think we should be open and accepting of positive talent.

She’s cool. She needs an amazing song that is what she is about (which is being positive) to make real noise. She can sing, but like an artist we know (Beyonce). She can play piano, but like an artist we know (Alicia). I really think it is going to take a great song to that is unigue to her for her to blow up or she’ll just be a great artist that some people heard of.
