Listen: Janelle Monae- Many Moons

Janelle Monae has a song called “Many Moons”. I won’t even pretend to have a clue about how new or old it is. Anyway, this is an interesting song and the production reminds a little of “Bombs Over Baghdad”. I’m sick and it’s midnight, so right now I’m brain dead and the song is flying over my head. Nonetheless, I still like it. The honorable and I are going to be checking her out this Tuesday at a performance in LA, so I’ll have more insight to offer about her as an artist after that. Click here to listen

What do you guys think of the song?

Love it!! This girl has got a real UNIQUE style!! I’m sorta brain dead at the moment, as I’ve just woke up now (YES, I love HM that much!! lol.) so the lyrics aren’t going into my head BUT nonetheless, still loving the song!!!

    Am sorry,but I really don’t think she’s all that!but that’s only my opinion…………
Maybe her music will eventually grow on me but on the flip side I do like the fact that she’s not all made up,but natural.
I haven’t heard this particular song yet, can’t where I am at now but when I do,I’ll c if I feel this song.

Shaffer one week and a half left until I get to c u in person, and am so siked up……..

Ok,ama give Janelle a chance.I like her unique and natural style………..
    I really liked Lauren Hill,India,
and Jill Scott.and she just kinda reminds of them a little, for some reason.

Love this song!!! I got a signed copy! Santogold is cool, but she doesn’t perform as well as janelle monae, sorry #9. they both have their own thing going on. She is different though and I like that. Please post”Smile” form Janelle monae! she sings the s*** out that song
