I’ll start it off…the only thing that is really on my mind right now is getting a chicken caesar wrap for lunch. Seriously…Thursday is my favorite day of the week simply because my job’s cafeteria has the best chicken caesar wraps in the world and I can only get them on Thursdays. So as soon as the clock strikes 11, I’ll be hightailing myself down to get my wrap, cookie, and a Coke. lol. And yes I am aware of how corny that makes me for looking forward to this every week, but it’s cool to be corny sometimes.

As for what else is on my mind i was just here lookin at a local college site, im about to go back to school and obtain an associate in some type of heatlh field, i think we’re (usa) are headed for some ugly shit and i wanna make sure i have a secure job, maybe im over reactin,but imma be prepared and the baby boomers bout to be sick as hell and its alot of dem to so…
the honorable has “unique” ears, i always stare directly at them for about 10-15 seconds when i come to this page, i dont want to, but… they always pull me in…

The one big thing that is on my mind is getting my paycheck. Today is pay day for me and I’m happy. I also have the day off since I only have classes on Monday, Wed, and Friday so I’m just at home doing homework. Math homework is so time consuming.
Reecie - Have you heard ego tripping by Snoop Dogg? If so what do you think about it? I actually like that country song Snoop Did. That song made me relisten to that album. So far it’s the only album that came out this year that I bought. When I first got it I only gave it one listen and put it away. I realize that I was quick with my judgement so I gave the album another listen and I like it alot more. My last favorite Snoop Dogg album was R&G but I like this album better.
There is this old hag at our office I just want to punch. She is so old and ugly. Ugh, I can’t look at her in the face. I don’t know how this beeotch (worksafe) is still alive. She is so negative and takes everything so personally. I want to kick her in the cooch but I don’t want to ruin my shoes. I can’t even imagine how that would be like. Actually, I can. Have you ever seen those old dried out pumpkins people forget about after Halloween? Well, it’s probably like kicking of those those.

What should be on my mind is my papers, but instead Im really trying to watch this week’s Girlicious. The CW is my guilty pleasure…the awful cattiness of the reality shows is so hilarious. After that I may check ANTM, best comedy of them all. Being overseas is bad for a tv addict because the networks wont let you watch stuff on their websites, but luckily these shows are all you tubed. However, I have not been able to find the recent episodes of The Game. No one even takes the time to upload it to the bootleg websites like youku or tudou. The right thing to do would be purchase it…but its not even on I Tunes. hate. Everyone passing me in the library is straight wondering why im here at ten pm not doing work. oh wells.
On another tip, Michelle Obama was great on The Colbert Report. So was the Roots playing the Star Spangled Banner and the Stephen Colbert duet with John Legend.
On another note, hows the African diaspora musical knowledge of HM Readers? Can anyone tell me what language Afirika as performed/recorded by Angelique Kidjo is in? I have a few guesses, but I dont want to make stuff up for this paper. Thanks.
oh..and another thing. The product placement for Avon’s mark. line in the No Air video…so painfully obvious, and funny…cus its Avon. It reminded me of the blatant Lil Mama placements in the G Slide video. Lets get all the little girls wearing shiny glosses.

JW- Jenna might get some acting gigs but nobody will take her seriously. Personally…I think it would set a really bad example if people were really able to use adult movies as a launching point for a credible acting career. I mean there are already people who have gotten famous off that sort of thing (Paris Hilton, Kim K)…but they are not even remotely respected or taken seriously. All their slutty antics and partying won’t look cute when they are 30.
Stallion…I haven’t heard Snoop’s new album. But I love that song “Life of the Party”. I was out and that song came on and it was so banging. I’m not really interested in his new material, because I know he still ain’t talking about jack (with the exception of maybe one song per album).
As far as Akon is concerned (exaggerating his criminal record)…it is just typical of the disgusting things that our society and the Hip Hop culture have come to accept and even revere. I’ve never really liked Akon and I think most of his music is pretty offensive, so this doesn’t really change my opinion of him. What WOULD be nice is if he came out and actually talked about how being a criminal is not something to proud of or want to try to act like and encourage people to live life more on the straight and narrow.

BKlyn Queen…I love Girlicious!lol…that show is my guilty pleasure. I didn’t catch last night’s episode yet (I tivo’d it though)…but I’m interested in seeing who went home. I hate that the 3 Black women on the show have to be so damn catty towards each other, so that makes me dislike Tiffany and Charlyie more because it seems like they are always starting something. I hope the group ends up being Christina, Natalie, and Nicole.
As far as The Game…the new episodes have sucked in my opinion. I’m ready them to either get Derwin and Melanie back together or let Melanie move on with her life. I think the thing that sucks is that Melanie was the one that got cheated on, yet it seems like her character is getting punished while Derwin goes off and has the time of his life.
Michelle Obama looked so pretty on The Colbert Report, but I think Stephen overpowered her and didn’t give her the chance to really speak.
I saw Angelique Kidjo at the Playboy Jazz Festival last year and I think she is great…but I won’t even front like I’m up on music from the African Diaspora.

On another note,am trying to find another job.Because those bitches at my job,don’t like me! I haven’t done anything to them!But I made a terrible mistake when I had messed with this guy on my job.
He had thought I dissed him in the begining! And even though we still talked,he talked a whole lot of shit about me behind my back! And told people our most intimate secreats! I really liked him so I believed him over what other people was telling me but at the end I found out that he was an habitual lyer!
And he was an great pretender! He was very kind to the other employees and they believed everything he said about me and they just turned on me!
They were just jealous of me because I always get the attention of guys and of this guy in particular.
Anyways I don’t talk to that guy at all anymore.He was just so jealous of me and never believed that I really liked him.somepeople found him unattractive but to me he was at first!Until he showed his real nasty character.

I might make an exception for some of the girls I work with but dating people you work with isn’t a good idea. I know there was some talk of posting new music/artists and I’m looking forward to hearing some new stuff from this artist Wynter Gordon. I’ve also been checking out some smaller blogs and discovered this artist called Beyond Belief. His music is different but I’m starting to become a really big fan. He’s got a few videos on youtube. You should check them out and consider posting about him too.

lol while on my home from work on the metro/subway (washington, DC) an old lady sat next to me and smelled like she lathered her entire body in Boo-boo (read: rancid shit) as if she had mistaken it for lotion— i just got up and stood on the other end hoping she wouldnt ask why i left so abruptly cuz i would have surely told her the god honest truth
at the barbershop, dude sitting next to me waiting was talkin on the phone and all of a sudden i felt this wave of unfathomable toxicity attack my nose. Im thinking to myself “this cannot be his breathe smelling like a port-a-potty in the summertime, im not even that close to him” and he had the nerve to be talkin incessantly and loud too. it was so bad i had to physically turn my head 90 degrees in the other direction to keep from inhaling his fumes. i really had to check myself cuz i sometimes have the asshole-like tendency to tell people about themselves (but im tryna change, lol) and tell him he had 2 opts. to either stop talking or sit his ass across the room
needless to say i left with a renewed sense of dental hygiene, bc i refuse to be that guy w/ the horrendously stank mouth
