People magazine is reporting that Beyonce and Jay-Z applied for a marriage license in New York. They will have 60 days to get married…so if this is true there could be a huge Hip Hop wedding on the horizon. But then again…today is April’s Fools Day so I’m kind of taking this one with a grain of salt until more evidence comes out.
What do you guys think of Beyonce and Jay-Z making it official after 6 years of dating?

I say however long they want to take is their business. If they wait 6 or 60 years, we ain’t gotta live with them. I say do it (if you want to) when you are ready!
I hate april fools day since the internet became apart of our lives… i do not know what to believe today.

Taurus, I have better things to do with my time than make up stories about people (that is what Mediatakeout is for lol). I was just reporting the story from People and I even made it clear that I’m taking it with a grain of salt since the story was coming out on April Fools.
However, I would think that People would do more fact checking to make sure that this wasn’t an April Fools joke. Jay-Z is on tour, but he was in NY today, so it’s not a stretch that he was in NY yesterday. I’ll still believe it when I see it though…the jury is out.
Jay better get a prenup cause he’s about to get a REALLY big deal. I don’t know how much B has but this is BIG $$ added to what he already has!
