Throwback Friday: All about Guy

I’m an 80s baby, but I wasn’t too young to groove to Guy’s New Jack Swing. To this day, Guy has some of my favorite songs. Every old school mix cd I make includes at least one song from the group. So…I decided to dedicate a post to the hotness that is Guy. Enjoy…

Guy- Groove Me

Guy- Let’s Chill

More music after the jump

Guy- Piece of My Love

Guy- I Like

Guy- Teddy’s Jam

Sidebar: I was in my car today grooving to Doug E Fresh’s “The Show” and I suddenly realized that the 80s music was all about dancing with your shoulders vs now where its all about moving your hips. I know that’s hella random, but I dare you try to dance to any of this songs without moving your shoulders or busting out in the snake or the wop lol.

this has nothing to do with the above post, but i think you should be on the lookout for a song called “rain” by razah (not sure why its spelled like that, but who knows)

I’m more of a 90’s baby, real early 90’s (1990 to be exact lol). This is the type of musick I grew up. Just the feel of it and energy baq in the day made the new jack era so amazing. Without Aaron Hall, Guy would b nothing lol. I bet if a club played Groove Me or Teddy’s Jam in the club, the club would get crunk. And ever since I’ve seen Love and Basketball I always loved I Like lol.
