I haven’t talked about it on the site yet, but I love Project Runway! Last night was the finale and the person I’ve been rooting for all season won- Christian! I’ll admit that the thing that makes me like him the most is how hilarious he is. He is so conceited,self-assured, and the way he talks makes him so endearing.
On the finale, Jillian had a nice collection…I liked the sweaters and her clothes looked great, but it really lacked cohesion. Also, she didn’t do an evening gown that blew me away. Click here to view Jillian’s Collection
Rami also had a pretty good collection, but like the judges said his color choices were odd. His fuchsia and neon blue clothes weren’t the hotness. I don’t know where he was coming from with that at all. Click here to view Rami’s Collection
Christian’s collection was the most dramatic and I give him kudos for using so many Black woman and recognizing the fierceness that we have too!
Did anyone notice that Jaslene from Top Model was one of Jillian’s models? She looked fantastic and she worked the runway. Also…I spotted Lauren from the current season of top model as the train-wreck model that Rami pointed out. Was she serious? I don’t know the timing of when Top Model was taped and when this finale was taped, but assuming this took place after Top Model then damn she didn’t learn sh!t!
Anyways, I’m happy with Christian winning…he and his collection are fierce!
What do you guys think of the finale? Did Christian deserve to win? Who deserved to be in the final three? Overall wasn’t there a lack of talent this season (i.e. Sweet Pea and 6 other people)?

my final three had been a constant rotation of victorya, jillian, christian, and rami.
i liked christian and jillian throughout the season.
at the end, i figured it would be jillian and christian in the final two.
i think i liked jill’s more though, and i can see where her idea tied the line together.
there’s definitely an obvious theme of knight-wear in her line; and she said that picture, full of knights, was her inspiration.
i was actually rooting for victorya up until she got eliminated though.
which seemed unfair because the biggest waste of space, I.E. RICKY CRIESALOT had yet to go home at that point. some of the stuff she made had not been the best; the prom dress she designed comes to mind, though she won, so i can’t say nothing. and it obviously wasn’t too bad that she got the boot, since the reunion show said she got to show at fashion week.
but good job, christian. good luck with all you do. Fierce!
I didn’t know Victoria got to show at Fashion Week. Click here to see her collection. I definitely think she was ripped off! She was a great designer and the fact that Sweet Pea made it to the final 5 with all the wack designs she did was such a joke.

They were shown at fashion week in order to not give away the final three. Basically, they were decoys.
That guy is just a genius. He was on top of everything most of the time and other designers were mad that Christian for being ahead of everyone. Although other designers were great, his work stood out throughout the whole season and even I could tell the definite difference. Congratulations to him!! =]
I def peeped Lauren and thought that was hilarious. Not sure about when Top Model was taped, but the Project Runway runway shows were taped the first week of February.

Yes I am biased…that is why I love doing my own site. I’m not a journalist, not that folks in the mainstream media are any less biased.
Anywaaaaays…BklynQueen…that was a pretty low moment for Top Model to have one of its contestants put on blast like that. We’ll see if she gets any better throughout the season, but my guess is no.
The decoy thing makes sense, except that Victoria was elimated way earlier in the season. Still, it is interesting to see what others came up with…Christian was still the best.
