Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige have a new song called “You’re Welcome”. Jay-Z’s flow and the beat don’t mesh well at all. Aside from the usual patting himself the back for being such a great rapper, he has some pretty good lyrics. I like Mary on the track, even though she sounds shaky at parts. Overall I’m underwhelmed by this one. As a side-note, has anyone seen the ticket prices for their tour? Talk about highway robbery…Prince didn’t even charge that much for concert tickets when he was on tour. Click here to listen

I paid 350.00 for mine, plus i paid extra for the mary j VIP upgrade (To ashame to say how much the upgrade cost lol) anyway i cant wait to hear them do cant knock the hustle live that makes it all worth it to me. yeah!
I paid $300 for floor seats to THREE concerts at the Essence Festival in July…I think that’s a much better deal than just seeing Mary and Jay-Z in concert.
mmaannn at least you get a chance to CHOOSE to buy tickets… that tour aint even coming within driving distance of where I live. But if it was… $300.00 would be more that worth it to me, i feel ya Taurus.

I really hope they don’t do a Best of Both Worlds album…that would be remarkably unnecessary. I’m kinda disappointed that they are touring together. I looove Mary and her concerts are amazing…it’s totally a chick fest though and no dude who has cheated on his current girlfriend or acted shady in any way should come within 50 feet lol. Now that I think of it,I probably should’ve bought tickets just to see so many guys sweating it out what they thought would be a harmless night out with their girl. I went to one Mary J concert and Kobe was there with his wife in the middle of his rape trial…I know he got cussed out when he got home! Lol.
