What is Your “Stipper Song”?

I’m going to let you guys in on a little secret…there is one song that I call my “stripper song”. No…I have not and will never be a stripper, but I call it that because I think every woman has a song that makes them go “if I was ever a stripper this would be my theme song” lol. Cameo’s “Candy” is that track for me. I love old school and everything about this song makes me just want to get my groove on. Since I haven’t posted any other videos today, I’m going to throw this one up for good measure.

What is your stripper song? (Fellas I’m sure ya’ll have stripper songs too) lol.

umm… i def dont got a stripper song but i do have a “friday night b4 the club getting dressed to be fly and getting motivated song” that i always listen to—- Usher’s Bad Girl, that song pretty much cements my swag for the evening lol

Mine would be “Bootylicious.” I’m just saying…

I think this is hilarious that Reecie actually put a post about this because I was just thinking about this a couple of weeks ago…NO I AM NOT LOOKIN INTO IT JUST THINKING! But my song would be “Cocaine” by Robin Thicke. That would probably be my name too, LOL.

lmao@ “Cocaine”….I don’t know the song, but that is pretty hilarious!

“Bad Girl” is my jam and I can dig “Bootylicious” but only the remix.

Uncle Luke “Hydrolics”, I don’t strip but have entertained it because multiple females have said that I should, all after seeing me dance in the club.

lol…Richy Bry…where are you from? In LA (moreso a few years ago), guys would do the “stripper dance” and the ladies always got a big kick out of that. I’ve noticed that guys don’t get down like that in other parts of the country though. Luke’s song is fast…I was dancing to that in Junior High, but now I can only take so much Luke before I faint lol.

Hydrolics is mad old, but still goes down. Any Luke soung is a stripper song.

I’ll go with Sean Paul - Give me the Light. She’s taking a couple songs off after she dances with me on this one.

From GA. I was raised on Miami Bass (I’m 24 now) and cannot bring myself to hold the wall in the club, i’ll dance till my legs lock up ;-) if its the “stripper dance” from the Rize documentary, I was actually feelin it and would do it for my girl at the time lol

  9. 9 Reecie February 29, 2008 at 4:17 pm

Yeah the “stripper dance” actually was featured in Rize. I have to clarify that younger folks dance like that…not 30 year old dudes in the club lol. But…for a smooth minute (actually moreso before Rize came out) that dance was the biggest dance to do and people would battle at the clubs…pretty entertaining stuff.

I would have to say mine would be a slow song, like H Town - Knockin the Boots, that song always makes me wanna dance with or without someone else…

  11. 11 Richy Bry February 29, 2008 at 6:51 pm

I hear ya loud and clear bout the “30 year dude” (dont put that on me just yet), the stripper dance was strictly private and as far as the booty dancing goes, it really depends on the crowd. There’s at least a few females down to sweat, rarely a club full of women, but some nights it goes down like that. And I bring competition with me, me and my homeboy always try and show each other up, he’s younger tho, 22. I’ll probably hang the dancin’ shoes when i’m married tho.

Ginuwine…. “Pony”…. Anytime that song is on… I’m on a table doin ma thing!! (Not strippin… just dancing teasingly (is that a word?) like there’s no tomorrow! Lol) Infact just did it at a Red Carpet Themed party, Thursday just passed. Had braces on and a tie, they came in handy with the dance :-P

Me too Reecie! Everytime I hear this song, I can’t help but to think about Ms. Candy’s little routine to this song in The Best Man. I even slightly memorized her moves. lol.

  17. 17 Fool's Gold March 3, 2008 at 5:32 am

My song would be ‘Love Songs’ by The Dream. I don’t know why. It’s something about the 808s. LoL

  18. 18 JNellDoe March 3, 2008 at 10:56 am

I like Candy too, but mine is “Flex” who did it though, Shabba Ranks or Mad Cobra??

  19. 19 Reecie March 3, 2008 at 12:54 pm

“Flex” is Mad Cobra and yes that song is the jam! I think I might need to go cop The Best Man dvd…I’ve been wanting to see that movie again a lot lately, plus my sis is getting married so watching a wedding movie would be fun.

Anyways…Pony is a good one, so is H-Town.

  20. 20 ddot March 3, 2008 at 2:43 pm

    what about 112- Anywhere

  21. 21 Richy Bry March 3, 2008 at 10:36 pm

Flex is a good pick, slow and steady, but I’d go with Shaggy “Mr. Boombastic” first. Which brings up another slow and steady song and since I’m not a r & b fan if I slowed it down it would be 8Ball/MJG “Space Age Pimpin”, i think i could make it work lol

  22. 22 Guille Go March 4, 2008 at 11:05 pm
