Kelly Rowland has a new track with Gym Class Heroes front man Travis called “Daylight”. I kinda like the production on this track versus the other monotonous and bland tracks from her album, but her voice sounds a little shaky at times. This is supposed to be on the re-release of her album Ms. Kelly, but she is going to need something stronger than this in order to compel people to want to guy out and buy her album. Travis’ part is hot though. I heard an interview with Kelly and she stated that her musical style is so laid back which explains why album came out the way it did and why she sounds a little forced on this track. At any rate, I like Kelly and I hope she can figure out a niche that doesn’t put people to sleep listening to her music yet she can comfortable in. Click here to listen
Jaheim has a new track with Keyshia Cole called “I’ve Changed”. These two together make a great pair. Keyshia opens up the track and sounds great. I don’t understand why there is a random chick singing the chorus rather than Keyshia, which is the only weak spot in the track. Jaheim is really winning me over with his new material that is much more mature and has a positive message. People should take notes…changing for the better is called growing up. Oh Mya…she tries so hard, but just can’t get it together. Here is a previously unreleased track called “B!tch Like Me”. Yeah, she went wrong with the title from jump. She does a little rock sound with the production and the song actually isn’t bad…but for someone who has been in the game for ten years, her music should be on a higher level. Click here to listen
Trey Songz has a song that didn’t make the album cut for some absurd reason called “U Got It”. This song is actually really HOT! This is a sexy little number, and Trey has the voice and swagger to pull it off. Yeah it’s another song about hooking up…but I can give him a pass since it’s not on the over saturated album. I really think that kyeshia is hot here as she is most of the time.Ialso really like Trey Songz a lot.His album Trey Day is very good.
The problem with Trey is his record label.He said that they don’t promote him the way they should and that their only good has a gateway to sell his albums.
He said that when he went on tour with Ne-yo last year that they wouldn’t even sponser him.He had to come up with his own money inorder to go.They didn’t even want him to put his song called (wonder woman) on the cd and to me,that song is real good.its different!
To me it seems that Trey has so much more to offer.And I truly believe that he wants to but he’s under contract,so what can he do…..
I wish hed turn a “Ne-yo” upon them if they’d give him a chance and just walk the heck up out of their and drop them suckers……..!
