*UPDATE*
It’s been about 4.5 months since the end of Season 6 and like many of the Smallville fans out there, we’re anxiously anticipating the return of Smallville this season. We’re looking forward to Clark finally accepting his destiny and starting his training in the Fortress of Solitude and we’re also looking forward to new and defined relationships between the infamous triangle between Lana, Clark, and Lex. We can’t wait to see Lex as evil as ever and well, some wish Lana to just die. lol. But what we all can’t wait for is Clark to do some major ass-kickin’ compared to that of Season 6.
Well, for those who needed a fix on Smallville throughout the summer, I’m sure you made it a point to check back every so often at the Smallville Dedication site for updates. One major update is the addition of a new character, Kara aka Supergirl, who is supposed to be Clark’s cousin from Krypton and who is the daughter of Zor-el, who is Jor-el’s brother. Here are some other updates to definitely check out for:
1. Dean Cain (a la Lois & Clark) will be making an astounding cameo in an upcoming episode playin a villian.
2. Justin Hartley will definitely be back this season to reprise his role as the Green Arrow.
3. Martian Manhunter and supposedly dead Chloe Sullivan, will be back this season.
4. Jimmy Olsen is back and grows some major cohones this season!!!
5. Lex finds religion?
6. Pete’s still not comin’ back…sorry folks!
So much more…….make sure you tune into “Bizarro” tonight. To all the Smallville fans, let’s get ready for a great season. Go pick up Season 6 on DVD if you haven’t yet.
To fans of the show, what are you expecting from Season 7? Do you think the show has lost its edge or do you think that things will be heating up now that Clark’s somewhat accepted his destiny? What do you think of the addition of “Kara?” What kind of relationship do you think each character should have with one another this season?

Who’s looking forward to the season finale. Apparently there will be a few deaths in tonight’s episode, “Phantom.” Can’t wait…can’t wait!!!
If you just tuned in, here’s what’s been goin’ down:
1. Lex Luthor is building an army of super soldiers using the DNA he extracted from one of the phantoms that escaped from the Phantom Zone. He is building this army to “save and protect” mankind. Lex and his twisted ideas…
2. Lana knows Clark’s secret and is protecting him from Lionel Luthor, who had promised to kill Clark is she didn’t marry Lex.
3. Lois is tryna find out more about this Super Soldier army of Lex’s and is gonna get shanked.
4. Pete is definitely not coming back (lol)
5. Martian Manhunter has a very detailed part in this episode.
6. Supposedly two people will die. Bets are on Chloe and Lana!!!
7. CW has picked up “Smallville” for a 7th season!!!

I love the show but I sometimes hate the fact when they come up with an interesting problem they take the easy way out or they have the reset problem but I guess because of the canon and the long term affect that writers what nothing to do about it. For example most of the bad guy who find out about Clark superpower always die at the end or are never seen again. They seem to forget that Lex dad found out about Clark power in season four? I still love the show.
I never really watched it until this past summer. When Superman Returns came out, the Smallville DVD’s were on sale so I bought the first two seasons. Needless to say, I came away super impressed. I can watch that show all day, unfortunatly I haven’t had enough dinero to buy Season 3.

Dude, holla at ebay my man. I copped all 5 seasons on dvd and I dont think i spent over $150. Of course i bought each set separately but each was like $30 sommin. I wouldn’t be pitchin at the retails for Smallville sets. You’d have to take out a 2nd mortgage on them suckas. he he. But yea, Smallville’s a good look man. By the way, feelin ya icon…Real Mario Brothas right there…
Stallion-
I do think that sometimes the show drags on because they do come up with “fillers” and plots where cats have to die because they know Clark’s secret. It’s kind of expected after a while. I don’t think they’ve forgotten about Lionel’s knowing of Clark’s powers. I think they’re just pushing it towards the latter half of the season where things get spicier. They definitely left us wondering with Lionel cause we don’t know if his intentions are good or evil. One things for sure, the episodes that have been playing in the last several weeks are on point….Especially “Hydro” and “Justice,” which I missed and have to watch at my friend’s spot. She tivo’d it. lol.
The first few seasons were so-so. I enjoyed them, but they were kind of slow. Season 4 picked up a little, but after the 100th episode (with Mr. Kent) the series has gone crazy fast and become definately one of the best shows on tv. Good to think somebody else thinks so as well.
So in the spirit of Reecie’s “Tube” post, I had to bring this topic back. Alright “Smallville” fans, it’s almost the end of the Season. “Progeny” is coming on tonight where Lynda Carter (woooooooonder womaaaaaaan!!!) will be playin Chloe’s mother.
What’re your thoughts of Season 6 so far? What do you think will go down in the next few episodes? What do you expect “Phantom,” the season finale to end like?
Apparently, from what I read, one of the main characters will die by season finale? The majority vote is Chloe!!!! Can’t wait for 2nyte!!!
I like the idea of prisoners for the Phantom zone escaping it and hiding on earth. I would love to see Pete come back for another episode. I always believe that Chloe is going to suffer the same fate as Gwen Stacy. She is in love with Clark but he is interested in her best friend (Lana)and Clark will end up with her cusin Lois. Tough break for Chloe. I regret missing the episode with Kane it in.
What if Doomsday was one of the aliens that escaped from the Phantom zone?
dude, lol. I missed “Combat” as well.
Pete aint comin back man. lol. You know what I was thinking though? I think Chloe was in the show to help Clark grow from an insecure child to a young adult who’s coming of age. I think her death will make Clark realize that he MUST fulfill his destiny and not let innocent people die. Chloe’s death will give rise to Martian Manhunter’s role to develop Clark to Kal-El!
this is my new blog of hip hop and r&b please visit it thanks.
I wonder once the show is over if they are going to have a spin off that showcase Clark as superman. Kind of like Superman year one or something like that.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Like u T, I’ve been watching this show since day one!!! (’Member Pete Ross?!?) Love me some Tom Welling… I dont know about you, but sometimes me and my friends be watching the show and we always think that the show would be more spectacular if they had other races. I’m not necessarily talking ’bout blacks but how ’bout latinos or arabs? I mean if Smallville is s’pose to represent what kids are going thru today well they could at least be “true” about stuff like that… (and dont make the black gurl a voodoo priest or something.. make her kick evil-butt!!!)
“I mean if Smallville is s’pose to represent what kids are going thru today well they could at least be “true” about stuff like that”
interesting point! I mean colored folk live in Kansas too! lol.
There’s Martian Manhunter now who’s black.
Kristin’s bi racial, to my understanding. The mythos of superman in general didnt really involve too many other ethnicities. But since this is a television show it would be good to see the people behind the scenes do more about diversifying cast members….i dunno!
Who’s ready for the season finale today?
Stallion-
I read somewhere that there might be a “Justice League” or “Metropolis” spin-off
Someone do me a favor and post 50 - “The Politician” youtube clip on HM.

To each his/her own but seriously watched it for the first time last night, can anyone say over the top dramatic???
Ok I just got done watching the season finale of smallville.
I really doubt Lana Lang got killed. Before the car she supposely got into exploded a truck drove by. I bet she hopped in that truck to make it look like she was in that car when it exploded to frame Lex Luthor because she wanted to get back at him. The only surprise they can give us is to have Lane actually be killed off.
They have been hinted for a while that Chloe have power. I like that idea of her giving up her life to save Lois. We all know what Lois destiny is but with Chloe that is a different story.
As the season goes by Lex is becoming more evil. It’s interesting to watch it happen. I like the idea of the villian Clark is fighting being Bizzaro. I think it is interesting that Clark almost killed Lex dad. We all knew he wouldn’t but the fact that he was about to do it is interesting.
All in all this was a great finale it wasn’t a classic one like that Star Trek the next generation episode when Captain Picard turned into a borg but this was good. I seriously doubt they Lana Lang is dead. Maybe Pete can come back next season and save the day.
i used to like this show the first few seasons, but now it way to formulaic. clark saves someone and tries to holla at lana again.
i think heroes has smallville beat, hands down. much better story.
HEROES? LOL….gotta be kiddin me. that show’s still getting air time?
I just saw Smallville and despite the fact I like the episodes I sitll have a few questions to asked and also want to make a few observation.
Will Lex ever install camera in his house?
Can anybody just walk into Lex house?
Now that Chloe is alive and well will the hospital that pronounced her dead and almost buried her alive just go on about there business not even talking to her or at least checking up on her?
Doesn’t the prison system normal contain camera?
Did Lex go back to prison after Bizzaro Clark set him free or did the police come and get him? Will he get charge for escaping?
No mention about the lawyer(I’m guessing he was a lawler) Bizzaro killed while helping Lex escape, does anyone care about that?
How many times have we seen evil Clark?
How many time have they killed off Chloe?
What happen to the kid that was with Lois and Chloe?
Isn’t it pretty convinent seconds after Bizzaro Clark knocked out Lex that is when the real Clark showed up? Isn’t it convient that stuff like that always happened?
Is Phil Morris replacing Pete as the token black guy?
Well that’s all for now.
Thesis - I notice that you are a super hero fan. Have you seen the Doomsday movie? It’s actually pretty good. It was a dark Superman story done well. My friend didn’t like it because it was nothing like the comic book but it was still enjoyable.
Stallion-
Yeah man….huge superhero fan. I was that cat who was spending his allowance on comic books in elementary school and what not. I was that cat who was trading Marvel cards in the corner of the playground seeing who had the most mint Wolverine card. lol…..
But i’ll answer your questions:
1. Lex has installed in every part of his house except his office. He installed cameras in the room Lana occupied when they were living together. He won’t install cameras in his office cause that’s where all the dasterdly events take place.
(but i’m wondering how the hell the lawyer got the audio recording of Lex’s convo with Lana when he smacked the hell out of her)
2. Yeah, can just about get through Lex’s “security guards” lol.
3. Smallville hasn’t been the best in event/scene continuation or follow-up so my guess is that the hospital’s check-in on Chloe will fade into non-existence.
4. It’s TV….the prison system cannot be compared to that of real life. It’ll have cameras when the directors want cameras to be present. lol
5. Lex turned himself in. After he was rescued by Kara aka Supergirl, he felt that an angel was sent to keep him alive to face his demons and deal with all the wrong he’s done. He turned himself in to face those demons and to stop running away from his fate.
6. The lawyer who was killed…..yeah, imagine that never happened. I’m sure the producers will.
7. Evil Clark….well, there’s been Clark on Red Kryptonite but I wouldn’t call him evil. He’s the same Clark just stripped of his inhibitions but there’s still some humanity in Red K influenced Clark. Bizarro Clark is on some neeeext shyt. He kills at will…You saw what he did to ole’ boi coming out the truck to help him when he was fastened in that barb wire? Yeah, Bizarro Clark ain’t the one to f* wit!
8. Umm, to my belief this is the 2nd time Chloe “died.” First situation was when Lex assisted her in faking her own death during a season finale and now this.
9. That kid? Man, that kid walked home. lol
10. Yeah, very convenient that stuff like that always happens. I mean the main antagonists can’t know about Clark yet…Then the show would just be over.
11. Phil Morris as the token black guy now? Ummm……..well, yes and no. The comic book history of the Martian Manhunter is that obviously he’s from mars and looks like an actual alien. His introduction in Smallville is somewhat interesting because both he and Clark are aliens inhabiting a very unique world compared to their original homes. Clark’s phenotypical (damn, excuse the biology references) characteristics mask his genotypical attributes thus making him able to assimilate much easier. Though it’s highly obvious that his psyche has been greatly affected while playing this double-life of his.
Conversely, Martian Manhunter’s orginal phenotypical characteristics in the comic books was that of a green alien…he couldn’t mask his physical appearance and he was a stranger and a potential threat no matter who he ran into. As with Phil Moris, he’s a black guy. The history of black people in America in very congruent to the trials that Martian Manhunter orginally faced because no matter how you twist it, he cannot look like or assimilate in this land.
Smallville felt it best to perhaps cast a black man to portray Martian Manhunter not only to keep true to the comic book history but to also interject some underlying truths about American History.
Vis a vis, those who may not know the history of Martian Manhunter may see Phil Morris as the “token black guy.” But I think there’s a deeper meaning to it all. To take it another level, to cast Phil Morris as Clark’s new “father”/”mentor” on Earth also shows how individuals of disparate “races” or “planets” can come together and fight for the same cause: Justice!
There are some cheesy things about Smallville but the above story line is genius!
Nope…haven’t seen that Doomsday movie…..although I did hear good reviews about it….But best believe I still have the original Death of Superman comic book from the 90s. I bought two. one to open and another one that’s still sealed after over a decade and change. how crazy is that?
NOT THESIS, THE HATER!?..LOL…HEROES IS THE SHYT…I’M NOT KNOCKING SMALLVILLE, IM STILL A FAN, BUT HEROES GOT’EM. STORY LINE AND PLOT ARE WAY MORE INTERESTING.
PLUS LANA AINT THAT TIGHT, AND CLOI LOOKS THIRTY NOW…LOL
AND YES ITS STILL AIRING. THE NEW SEASON JUST STARTED THIS PAST MONDAY.
i watched the first few episodes of the show started and it was str8…i guess…..i havent given it a serious chance doe. I admit that. but chill thun thun, heroes still need to catch up! lol
