Alicia Keys has a new single called “No One” that debuted on the radio today. She is showing a lot more emotion in her music than she has in the past…but I think it’s a smidge on the overkill side since she just jumps right in and doesn’t give the song a chance to build up. Keyshia Cole has a hot new song called “Shoulda Let U Go”. I love the production and Keyshia sounds great on the track. She is sounding more MJB-ish these days…and I mean that as a compliment. I don’t know who the hell that wack a$$ rapper is on the track (that’s a downgrade) but the song is fire. Another ladies anthem. Click here to listen
Soulja Boy has a dumb a$$ song called “Snap & Roll”. This song is pretty comical and Soulja Boy is really a pretty wack rapper… but I can’t hate on him though. He is a cutie pie and he has fun with it so who cares if his music is brainless. I can imagine myself liking this song if they come out with a catchy video for this (hey at least I’m being honest).Click here to listen
Eve has a new song featuring Mashonda called “Dance Floor”. This song is a banger…I’m digging it. I haven’t heard much range from Eve in all of the material floating around so far so I’m wondering if her album is going to have something other than club bangers to offer. Cherish has a new song called “Shoe Fanatic”. People really make songs about anything these days. These girls actually have nice voices…but I can’t get with this song. Dance Floor is pure hotness!! Yeah, I gotta agree, I wasnt really feeling anything from the new album other than Tambourine, but this is a great track, a real sexy club track. But I read somewhere that it’s only gonna be on the UK release, so dl it while you can, haters!!! lol

I’m so dissappointed in Alicia Keys. The song isn’t totally terrible, but you would expect her to come a lot harder. Her first singles are always huge smashes. I don’t think that’ll happen this time.

I don’t know if you know this, but Soulja Boy also has a song about sneakers. I think its called, “I got me some Bathing Apes” or something like that.
