If anybody ever had any doubt about just how much Black folks like to dance…all they have to do is watch this video of 17,000 Black people dancing to the Cupid Shuffle at the Ebony Black Family Reunion in Atlanta, GA. These lovely folks set a record for the “Largest Line Dance in the World”. I’m personally a huge fan of this song. I dance to it everytime it comes on whether I’m in the car, at the house, or at the club so I can see why they managed to pull this record off. I need to make a mental note to go check out the Ebony Black Family Reunion next year lol.
What do you guys think about this world record? Is it a fun little event or a sign that the world is coming to an end? lol What should be the next dance to break the world record?

If I remember correctly, Reecie was blasting Jamie Foxx for his comments on the Michael Vick case saying, “Stereotyping an entire race of people is just retarded and totally unfounded.” But then you say, “If anybody ever had any doubt about just how much Black folks like to dance”…
Food for thought, you do the dishes.
lol…whatever! Well since we’re nitpicking my words…you took my quote from the Polow Da Don post not the Jamie Foxx one. A joke about black people liking to dance to introduce a video of 17,000 people dancing isn’t in the same realm of saying that Black women are ___ and white women are ___ .
But you know what…just in case I offended anyone by my statements…I apologize to all the lame ass black folks out there I have incorrectly characterized who in fact DON’T like to dance.
LOL@”Food for thought, you do the dishes.”
Sits back with the food and watches what happens between Reecie and Shaff.
Yea..cuz in the words of GOODie MOB, “they dance no mo’, all the do is this”
Reecie, you know I dont dance cuz gangstas dont dance…we boogie.
i was joking…im not a gangsta.
i can dance a little…
Louisiana represent.
This is the first song (of recent origin) in a while that will get my Grandmother up to dance. So, I have to respect this.
Reecie, isn’t it funny when people try to put you on blast with the wrong/misguided information?
This is cute and all, but I think its sad that they can’t even get this many people to show up to a protest in Jena, LA.
That’s all we’re good for.. A song and dance!
That was my first time hearing that song.
