Reecie Recommends: Rush Hour 3

I don’t know about you guys…but I kinda expected Rush Hour 3 to suck…however, I still wanted to see it. Well from the opening scene, I was laughing hysterically. Since it’s been so long since the other two Rush Hour movies, I can’t really make an accurate comparison…but I will say that this one had a great mix of action and comedy. Jackie Chan carried the movie on the action tip and had quite a few great scenes. Chris Tucker delivered on the comedy side, even though you could tell that he is a little on the rusty side. I don’t want to give away any parts of the movie…so I will leave it at I highly recommend this flick to anyone that is a Chris Tucker and/or Jackie Chan fan.

What did you think about Rush Hour 3? Isn’t it great to see the movie get a #1 box office opening? Would you recommend this movie to a friend?

I went in with low expectations due to it being 6 years since the last one, but like the first 2…I enjoyed it, a little less this time around though. I agree w/ you Reecie, about Chtis Tucker being a little rusty. His jokes felt wayyyyy too forced at times, but because he’s Chris Tucker…I couldn’t help but laugh.

The cab driver/”American Spy” was hilarious.

P.S. C.T. is a hustler, for real. 25 million for this? 20 million for R.H.2? And that’s all he’s done in the last 6 years. It’ll be interesting to see where his career goes from here because I can’t see them making another Rush Hour.

Oh yeah the scenes with the cab driver were some of the best and most clever scenes in the entire film! I got tons of good laughs out of this movie.

The cab driver should be in part 4 (the one that goes straight to DVD, and stars Wayne Brady instead of Chris Tucker). I think the Rush Hour series should be put to rest to say the least. I did enjoy the movie but as Ace said above, “a little less this time.” I thought it would either suck or be mediocre. It was definitely above mediocre. I like Rush Hour 2 the best, then Rush Hour 1 and Rush Hour 3 battle for 2nd and 3rd.

I got to meet Jackie Chan the week before last and get a lil sneak peek of the movie… I thought it lived up to the other two.

I loved it! I think it was about as good as the first one. I’m still not sure why Genevieve was taking her gun out in the hotel room while she was giving Chris Tucker some bed time, though. But then again, all the other Rush Hour movies had small odd/lame/nonsense pieces of storyline.
