I know we have a lot of fans of the new season of Making The Band 4 on this site…so I’m sure many of you tuned in last night to see the guys record “I Want You Exclusive”. First…I have to say that it was so heart wrenching to see Carlos go through the situation he did with his girlfriend and her pregnancy scare. They found out that their baby might be born with Down’s Syndrome…I hope that their baby comes out healthy and with no problems. At any rate…it was cold for Diddy to cut him when it would be impossible for anyone to perform under those circumstances, he has no heart. I’m going to try and give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn’t know about Carlos’ personal situation.
Anyways…on to the song. It’s a hot club banger that I could see being a big hit with the pop crowd and the ladies. Say what you want about the show Making the Band, but all of the bands have managed to make solid albums that sold pretty well…and I have a feeling that this new group when formed will share in similar success. Check out the song and share your thoughts.

I think the song is pretty good. If only they weren’t signed to Bad Boy, maybe they would have a chance, lol.
And honestly, I think it was right for Carlos to be voted off. If he were to actually make the band, that would have meant even less time devoted to his girlfriend and his baby. That same thing happened to a friend of mine, because the blood test is really inconclusive, but thankfully the baby came out fine. I just think it would have been even worse for him to make the band and not even really be able to see his girlfriend and child.
And if Julius knew he wasn’t gonna be able to dance on par, he should have at least sang that shit out that song. That was disappointing.
After last night and hearing this song, I’m sure that Brian A. and Will will definently make the band. Big Mike & Brian A. sound the best on the song, and Willie & Robert do good too on their respective lead vocals.
Anyways, I really hope that Carlos’ baby comes out alright, that’s a horrible position to be put in.
I agree that Carlos should devote more time to his family, but I don’t think that Diddy was taking that into consideration when he cut him. He has mentioned plenty of times that he frequently reviews the tape so I have a feeling that he knew what was going on and just decided to be cold. On the other hand, my favorite is Brian A. He’s had my vote ever since he sang the hell out of “End of the Road” during the battle on the previous episode. Overall, good luck to all of them, I think Diddy is an excellent business man he just sucks as an artist.

There is no doubt Carlos has a great head on his shoulders, and would devote himself to his family whether he made the band or not- despite his sad history with his own dad.

This is some crazy shyt! Tell me y my fiance looks jus like carlos and dey both the same age. Same color, same hair even the same line up on the hairline! The whole down syndrome thing… yeah u guessd it, that shyt happn 2 us 2. 1 year and 3 months ago I got a call 4rm r doctor n she said the screenin test said r lil gurl might hav down syndrome =( but like sum1 stated in the 1st comment that the test is rarely right. 95% chance of a false positive. Y hav the test if its always wrong?!? Anyway I believe their baby is ok. They probably already had him concidering the fact that this was tapped awhile ago. Its fuckd up that diddy cut him. I think that Carlos is very talented but had alot of stuff on his mind with the baby and all!! Thats why he messed up and got eliminated because their is so much talent this yr for MTB 4 that its only takes one time for u to mess up and ur cut!! The song is… erm… very basic. The music is almost nothing more than random beat rythyms together, the singing is ok, but I don’t find it original at all. Any boy band could do something like this, and I don’t know the show but just the song it “REALITY SHOW” all over. Which isn’t a really good thing…

To be honest with you all, there are still far too many singers in this “making” that have shaky, horrible voices. It’s amazing what studio can do for singers! Three guys that really stand out as great singers (without studio), who can simply grind it out are Brian Harris, Carlos (now eliminated), and Willie! I watched Brian Harris grow to become a great singer–he wasn’t always good (sang in a choir with him in DUVAL–Jax for those of you who don’t know what Duval is). While I am in touch with him, I am not partial to him. If I had never seen him before, I’d still say he is one of the best on the show. Watch the finals. He’s gonna make it!
Cheri Dennis was the original singer of “Oh La La” the Making the Band 3 theme song before the band was made…then it became “One Shot” by Danity Kane, once the band was formed.

I Believe Diddy Made The Biggest Mistake Of His Life By Sending Carlos Home. He Was One Of The Best Guys In The Show Not Just Because He Was Good Looking But Also Cause He Had A Lot Of Talent. Blaming Diddy for Carlos being sent home is beside the point that’s obvious…I blame Carlos’ girlfriend (no offense–because I wish her the best of luck with this & pray the baby comes out healthy). BUT, she knows that he’s in a competition and telling him something like that could mess him up. What she should have done was kept it to herself until all this was done…and that may seem like the wrong thing to do because Carlos needs to know, but Carlos could have been a nice fit for the band & you don’t want to jeopardize that if it’s gonna help you get to your dream and that glamourous lifestyle for your family. And in the end if she had told him he’d have to understand that she was only looking out for him so he can make this band.
Besides that I love the song and I guess Donnie & Willie are a MUST cuz they’re both hott and I love Big Mike’s voice. *shrugs*

I watched making the band from the begining to the end. I liked this season a lot because usually diddy does the same thing but this year he did something different, and that was hot!!!! On this show i fell in love with Brian Harris. OMG i think he is one of the finest men on gods green earth. I consider him my new husband. Robert: because he has a very unique distinct voice and he can kill a song with his runs. he’s also of one the most consistent singers since the show began
Willie: because he has the body and the swagger and he has a great lead vocals voice
Brian H.: because he adds some height and a good look with the low cut. he also has a very nice voice (remember he wowed Joe when he sung Cand You Stand the Rain)
And finally, the biggest sleeper on the show…
Jeremy: i’ve read every message posted and NO ONE uttered his name. Jeremy has the most beautiful voice in the house. he’s doesn’t have the powerhouse voice of the house (that’s Big Mike) but the most beautiful. remember on the episode when they first went to the studio, when they were in the house practicing he was at the sink singing it and Big Mike and others were at the table getting hype off of how Jeremy sounded. he would kill slower ballads. all he needs is a little more stage presence but yall sleeping on Jeremy’s emotion-filled voice!
If I had to pick a 5th member it would be Big Mike but honestly all 10 can make it.
I agree Jeremy got a great voice.. but all 10 cats that are left got great voices though thats the hard thing about it. But i’d pick Donnie over Jeremy cause he has a Unique tone to his voice.. Jeremy sound beautiful but there’s 100000 other cats sounding just like him, not taking away the fact that he’s very talented and a great singer.
It’s truly a very hard decision cuz all 10 can really sing. Diddy did a good job of selecting talented singers but it made his job harder cuz he can go in so many different directions. I just had to show Jeremy some love cuz nobody else did and when he sings I’m like whoa. On the episode where diddy eliminates after they dance with laurie ann even diddy says himself that Jeremy has one of the most beautiful voices he’s heard in a long time.
On another note, I went to wikipedia and typed in Making the Band 4, at the bottom there’s a graph that has all the eliminations and the final 4/5 are picked. It’s Willie, Big Mike, Brian A., Robert, and Deangelo as the surprise 5th member. Check it out if you haven’t already and please someone let me know if there’s any truth to this.

I think she should have waited until after eliminations IF THERE WAS NO DNAGER TO HER OR THE BABY. I mean if she was not being rushed into surgery, then what was the point? I think that Carlos deserved to be cut and I think Diddy was tryin to act cold because it is a show but in reality he cut Carlos because he needed to be home to support his wifey. In the shape she was in physically and emotionally she needed Carlos and rightfully his mind wasn’t on the competition anymore and Diddy knew that. I wouldn’t be surprised if Diddy still does something with Carlos as a solo artist cause he has the look and the sound.
Julius eliminated himself. It’s not like Diddy didn’t know that his leg was hurt but he kept him on the show. Like Robert said he shouldve just sung his ass off every time he got the chance but he let the leg injury throw him off his game and he really had a good soul voice.

I think what Josera did was right because she needed him there both phyisically and emotionally. i was upset when he left because he has a beautiful voice. i hope that thier son is born safe and healthy and it is a shame that they went throught that. I hope that they get married and a beautiful life! Carlos and Josera seem like a happy couple and look so beautiful together and they are 2 beautiful people. I think Josera is a sweet and brave woman. she had guts and a i give her a lot of respect. i don’t know them personally, but i wish them the best!
I’m glad for the fellas who made the band but I think Diddy should’ve pick DeAngelo instead of Q. Not to hate on him but DeAngelo has the better voice, in my opinion, than Q. DeAngelo stuck out more in the show than Q did. If I had the chance to pick the band, it would have been, Brian A, Robert, DeAngelo, Brian H and Dyshon. I think they would have made a better choice. But hey, it is what it is. Why did Donnie get a solo deal instead of DeAngelo. Not to knock Donnie down but DeAngelo would have made a better solo artist and I think would sell more records.But hey, it is what it is

These are the gayest group of men I have ever seen in my life. I have nothing against gay people. P. Diddy really dropped the ball on this one. Every member of the guys are gay. Their looks, mannerisms, and their speech. P. Diddy should have called this Making The Gay Band 4. Big Ups to P. Didddy for signeing the first openly gay boy band–or should I say the “down low” boy band.
I think that De Angelo and Brain H should have made the group. Day 26 Band should have been: De Angelo, Brian H, Brian A, Robert, Mike, Donnie. Q’s voice is not that great; Diddy picked him because of his looks and that he can dance; as well as Will. I’m not too familiar with Jerermy but I do know that he doesn’t pronounce his words as clearly as the others in the group, so perhaps that was a big factor in him not getting selected for Day 26. The love ballard to Exclusive is awesome! If they put the love ballard on Day 26’s CD to be released it will not sound good without De Angelo singing the beginning of the song because he totally rocked it and has great stage presence. Also, Brian H rocked the middle of the song so without all ten of them singing the love ballard the song will not sound good to me. That’s good for Diddy that he is having problems with those he selected not harmonzing to cut the CD, because he went after looks instead of quality. I feel that Q should be replaced with De Angelo and Will should be replaced with Brian H. I wish De Angelo and Brian H many blessings with either a solo career or vocal group career together in the future.
