Listen to T.I.’s New Album

MTV is offering up a sneak peak at T.I.’s new album “T.I. vs. TIP” before it hits stores. Check it out here. Then come back and tell us what you thought about the album. Oh yeah and in case you were wondering (ladies) T.I. has reconciled with his long time girlfriend Tiny (from Xscape) and spoke about it in the issue of Vibe magazine.

Here is what he had to say:

…she means to me what my mother meant to me as a kid.” He added, “Somebody that you know is consistently there, has your best interests at heart, and if ain’t nobody else there in the world, [she] gon’ be there. [Tiny's] filled that spot in my life.”…

I’m glad to see that they have reconciled…she has obviously held him down for a long time now…so kudos to him for being appreciative of her support.

This leaked this weekend… and I’m not too impressed on my first few listens. Maybe it’ll grow on me but I wish he had included the track he had with Wayne & Jeezy and the other with Andre 3000. The Eminem track is sick though.

im going to have to listen to this a couple more times, to get the full affect…its definitly got some heat on there that i liked off first listen, but i dont think its fuckin with “king”…whn i heard tht whole album first go round, it was a wrap on first listen…classic…i didnt really dig “i’m serious”(tip’s first album) when it first dropped, but after a couple of listens, loved it…

since theres only bullshyt dropping…i’m probably gonna be listening to this album til kanye drops…

I’m glad that TI and his wifey are back together. I think that they are a cute couple and it is hard to find someone that will keep it real with you. Gosh, gotta love “real” black love!!!!

Rather this album is bad or good I think it is worth to check out if you like Big shit poppin and that other one.

king of the midwest - You have a point that there is nothing really going on in music right now. All the best artist who are releasing music are doing it around the fall and all the big artist who released album so far have been a big let down. Must I remind you people of the R.Kelly album. The only artist who is having a good year is Justin Timberlake and he released his album last year? I can’t wait for the Three 6 mafia, Kanye West, Keyshia Cole, Usher, Alicia Keys, Common, Lupe, and even 50 cent album coming out. I did like Macy Gray, Timbaland, Amy Winehouse, and Rihanna albums.

Disappointing albums of the year or albums you shouldn’t expect to much from - Young Buck, R.Kelly, Neyo, T-pain, DJ Kland, The guy who sings party like a rock star, and a few others.

Albums to look out for - Three 6 Mafia, Kanye West, Usher, Alicia Keys, Common, and Lupe.

stallion…you gotta add wayne…com’on now…wayne is killing the mixtapes right now…and if they ever release the gangsta grillz album, it should be decent…oh yeah saigon, gotta have this album if it ever drops

i’m also waiting on that ugk, but i’m scared…i love ugk, but i heard songs with swizz and other east coast producers…thats not the ugk i love, i need pimp c back on the boards…i need those heavy bass lines, sharp snares, and country blues guitars…

they used to make country rap tunes, now im hearing rap songs…wassup pimp c!

On first listen, the only songs that really stand out are “Respect This Hustle”, “Tell’em I Said That”, and “Touch Down”. “Big Things Poppin’” is a nice track, but I liked it better a year ago, when it was called “Top Back”. This CD sounds rushed, he should have layed back and did a PSC compilation. Personally, I’m more interested in what Dro and Khayo are doing right now. Someone needs to tell him that after doing a big record like “What You Know”, people are going to want more from you. The average consumer, these days, is much too saavy to fall for this “split personality” marketing scheme bullshit. That being said, since it only takes about 150,000 copies to hit Billboard’s No. 1 spot, these days, he’ll probably get it.

BTW, he wants to be the “king of the south”, but can he afford to put this shit out when Weezy F. Baby (Please Say the Baby) is working with Kanyeezee? (I know, too many “eezee’s” ;)

of course tip loves tiny, she chooses freaking other girls for them to have orgies with, what other girl will allow him to do that and stay at home and take care of the kids? tiny fills in his void, thats good and great and all, but i still would have chosen lauren london over her anyhow.
