Sarah Connor and Ne-Yo must have been on some major crack when they decided it would be a good idea to butcher Marvin Gaye’s classic, “Sexual Healing”. This sh!t is straight garbage. I can’t believe this crap is even seeing the light of day. There is no soul and no sexiness in this song whatsoever…some songs should just be left alone!

I guess she saw John Mayer ripped this song so it was ok for her to do too….I’m calling the Terminator right now to let him know she got away again. I hope this doesn’t blow up, Marvin Gaye will be rolling in his grave if he isnt already.

And if anyone wants to know who Sarah Connor, no its not the lead female in Terminator, shes a German singer who had a really minor hit with ‘Bounce’ in like 2004 or 2005, can’t remember.

The cover is not bad at all, in my opinion. I always enjoy a fresh take on a classic song as long as it is not butchered and I don’t feel like this one is. Of course no one can top Marvin Gaye, but I feel like this will be a solid performer on the charts. It’s a great song and it will be nice to hear it on the top 40 station that I listen to, because face it, if you like to mainly listen to top40, you don’t hear Marvin Gaye.
As for the video, have any of you seen the move 9 1/2 Weeks with Kim Basinger & Mickey Rourke? This video was a tribute to that movie. They did a nice job re-enacting some of those scenes, as it was a very, very sexy movie.
sarah connor is much better than this.
she has the same vocal range as Mariah and Christina and her single From Sarah With Love is lovley and moving.
bounce was no minor hit (mayb in the usa) but to the rest of the world it was a smash hit
