UGK ft. T.I.- “Hit The Block” (listen)
Hot off the presses, this track is killin’em…Didnt really grow up on UGK and what not but I respects this track. Flow was nice, beat was crazy. Word Swizz? TI did his thang…

Ghostface, Raekwon and Trife Da God- “The Roosevelts” (listen)
Always nice to hear Ghost and Rae on a track together….whatever happened to that RAGU album?

Carol Riddick- “I Don’t Wanna” (listen)
She’s a star out of Philly and a great lady whom I’ve had the opportunity to correspond with. She has a beautiful and powerful voice ya’ll..Support her!!! She did collabos with mad folk but ya’ll should know her from Musiq’s “Bestfriend” and she’s the background vocal on “Soulstar”
Consequence- “Callin Me” (stream)
Well, real talk, i havent really paid attention to DA CONS till this point except that “Brand New” track with Da Louis Vuitton Don. Eh, this track doesnt do anything for me really except for the fact that it sounds real Amerie/Richcraft-esque…not a good look!

Tracks are so so… In times when the Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B industry slows down, I tend to look back at some “classic” songs from the past. One song that I recently stumbled on from my playlist was 50 Cent’s “The Glow”. I think it was the first track that he professionally recorded. It was before he was shot in his mouth and his voice hadn’t yet altered. Pretty cool track that samples Luther Vandross…
